THE MOTHER STATION
The Mother Station Unit is located at the CNG or RNG producing facility where the natural gas needs to be compressed from mid-pressure to high-pressure, in order to fill a large tube trailer for transport. BAUER has the ability to produce stationary or mobile units in single or duplex packages, depending on the amount of gas that needs to be compressed.
THE DAUGHTER STATION
The Daughter Station Unit is located at the destination of the gas where the virtual pipeline service provider is able completely discharge any residual gas from the tube trailer by recompressing all the residual gas from the trailer into the destination pipeline. This maximizes the efficiency of the virtual pipeline system and eliminates mobile trailers returning to the mother station with any residual gas.
With the combination of a rotary screw and reciprocating compressor, BAUER is able to extend the operating range of the compressor system to deal with extremely high to low inlet pressures while also letting the system operate at continuous maximum flow, regardless of compressor inlet pressure which minimizes gas storage trailer evacuation time for greater turn-around efficiency.
